Fell Sick

I Fell Sick on the fourth day of work! -_- MC on thursday!

 and i’m still sick after 3 days… sigh.. lucky i’ve a long weekend this wk due to NAtional day. I’m off tmr! Weet~ can rest more before my training from tuesday to thurs. Haiz.. the sad thing is, i guess my house is super virus-infected! My brother and Rui’en is suffering from Hand-foot-mouth disease! OMG! i can’t believe it manz… wonder if i spread the virus to them or they spread the virus to me la. but lucky i dun have any rash on my body. So i guess i’m just suffering from flu and throat infection. If i got hand-foot mouth disease, think no need to go work for 10days already! my brother will be excused from schoool for 10days! so shiok right? hah…but it’s so scary la! Hope my brother gets well soon!!!!!!

Haiz.. and hope i get well soon so that i can hug shane shane and play with him!

It was a good day to start work! fRIDAY! Yea.. no monday blues! ahha..

Everything turned out good, it was a good start! Free shuttle bus home straight to my block, no stopovers because i’m the only worker for that bus! lolz.. the uncle so nice to send me home! lolz..cos they have extra buses and driver. so good! Reached home at 5.30pm!

If that’s for everyday.. ,think life’s so good! ahahha.. gonna go for training from 12-14th Aug at Ayer rajah.. and meetings will be in Johor!!!!!!! My.. gonna travel to JB like every tues? unless there’s other impt stuffs to attend to in Sg. But basically, i’ll be tagging along with my Asst Manager and learn new stuffs! pretty looking forward to it! and it’s Engineering stuffs that i’ll be learning! can’t believe it! ha.. hope i wun be too stress to be A Stress Analysis Engineer.. Ha!

Hee.. and was super happy to see Dar at my block today after work. Double happiness! I’m a happy gal today!

Job FOund

I’ve found a job and i’m working in tuas! It’s a US mnc manufacturing company,manufacturing water transmission pipes for offshore, marine, oil and gas company. Gonna haf training for 6 months before i turn their perm staff.. Mainly doing stress analysis work. Yea..and it’s near my house! Gonna start work on the 1st Aug! So i’ve still got 2 more week or less to spend time with PP dar! Argh.. At first was quite reluctant to take up the job cos the pay was pretty low. But guess, private firms starting pay is around that range nowadays. Market not very good now alr.. sadz.. It’s ok, looking forward to the half month bonus pay after the six months of training and pay review!! But that’s if i’m gonna like the stuff i’m doing in the company and will stay for long. Well, hopefully will la..

We had a great day at the swimming pool~ and it was the last outing we had with Xan.. cos my mum no longer looks after him le.. sadz.. but guess, we’ll still see him grow up as he stays near us!

My 23rd

23rd birthday on the 23rd of June! it’s a once in life kinda thingy right? ahah.. and i spent this special day with PP and a mini-cake celebration with his lovely family.

Finally, we tried mushroom pot! it’s in OG level 4 i think.. the food and concept is kinda new.. so many types of mushroom in a meal.. aha.. food is nice but not that cheap.

Our first anniversary

Went to the Singapore Flyers…

There’s this Yakult garden at the singapore flyers.

and yea.. on the 2nd level, we visited Kenko Fish spa before boarding the flyers..

Tadah! Looks scary yea? Fish bitting our legs! It’s $28 for 30min! lolz.. pretty interesting kinda leg spa..

Haha.. and pp got really excited and went ’screaming’ teehee…

cos it’s really ticklish when u first insert ur legs into the so called fish pond.

Hee.. tat’s me and my fish leg. aha.. i mean leg filled with bitting fish….. ha.. watever

and that’s the best part of our day! It’s the full body massage. PP and i have nvr tried this in singapore.. it’s really good. Though painful at times but u feel really relaxing and less tense in the muscles at the end of the session. This is the couple room they had for us..

Wahaha.. show u the ugly side of me with shower cap! WAHAHAHa.. super auntie right? yea.. but dun care! Think this pic is super funny la! ahaha … we took this when the massage ladies walked into the room.

Pretty exciting.. but to be honest, there’s nth much to see if u’re a singaporean,  u sorta expected what to see anywae.. so not that fantastic afterall.

Lolz, we’re actually supposed to take the shared cabin with the indians.. hmmz, but we told them we want to board the next one. 30bucks per person is not cheap lor. so must be the best. ha.. reason? Ans. a cabin with at least 10 indians.. if add two chinese.. hmmz.. *sneeze*

Yea.. that’s the end of our ride on the ferris wheel.. super glad! ahaha.. cos it’s time to look for yummy food!

Went to HOOKED on HEADS… ahha.. nice food they have lor. Especially the fish head curry. super alot of fish meat..and the soup taste really good ..

The prawn paste chicken looked so prawn paste. ahaha

and we’re so satisfied with the meal.. ending off with yummy mango rice desert.

Let me introduce to you how to make a sushi! haha.

first, u’ve gotta buy a woody sushi ‘tightener’ thingy.. dunno wat issit called. haha.. but it looks like a normal piece of woody small mat. ha..

First, placed the seaweed and rice. Rice is special.. added sushi vinegar and rice must be those sushi rice.. simply purchase from supermarket (japanese brand rice!) 1/2 kg approximately 9bucks. ha.. expensive ah nowadays…

Secondly, put in ur ingredients. Cumcumber also not normal kind ah.. must buy those long and skinny type of japanese cucumber! yes yes.. and after that, it requires some skill to roll the sushi!! Tadah……….

Yes, finally u’ve got a nicely rolled sushi.. of course, the purpose of the woody mat thingy is to tightened the sushi.. shadn’t show u how to do it here.. wahaha.. anywae, yes yes.. Miss Ang is hungry already, she can’t wait to gobble the whole of the sushi without cutting..

Okok.. Finally, it’s her helpers turn! First attempt.. haiyOoo.. cannot cannot..

After several attempts, skill getting better due to good guidance…

Tadah.. seems successful

Tadah! Looks good? yeah..and it definitely test yummy.. cos we did like 5 rolls and the container is forever not full.. which means to say, someone is eating the sushi non-stop! Unresistable! YUM!

Plus.. yummy ginseng soup from Korea!~ Da bao back one.. aha.. i mean, i brought back the herbs for Mummy to cook ginseng chicken soup! Slurp~

1 hour after the call

Miss pp dar lots.. just put down the phone for one hour and i miss him badly. think these few days i’m gonna have terrible nights. But lucky, my bdae doesn’t falls this wk.. if not i’m gonna go without him to spend the special day with me. Ahh.. i’m growing older and older and older already.. gonna turn 23 on the 23rd of June~ AHh.. the number 23! ahaha..

Mind me, going crazy!.. oh well, what shall i do for the next few days without pP?

and i tell you, this is crazy! We took the rollarcoaster ride. The sacriest one i’ve taken so far! The drop was 70 degrees and halfway thru, u hear no more screams.. cos the first two drops were too high and we loss our voices midway. hahaha. Think the 1.5hours queue was worth it for the experience!

Weet! My first time climbing such a high mountain.. in fact, it was a volcano in Jeju island!

haha..lastly, that’s us on the plane back! -_- blurrness is due to turbulance! ahha.. PP said so, and i totally Agree.. ***** Eastern SUX SUX SUX! argh.no leg rest how to sleep. somemore the flight is almost 6 hours! Almost kill me la.. AHH, it feels really good to be home. Went dinner with dad and mum once i touched singapore.. flight was delayed and they were anxiously waiting for our return together with PP’s dar family.. So happy to see them lor.. hehe.. looking forward to our next trip!

PP’s dar birthday! ahah. we practically slack the whole day at home. I’m a lazy gf, din organise any surprises for him ;( or bring him out. Sigh.. but we’re saving more on tuesday~ hehe

Heh, reminiscing the past. Last yr, u celebrated ur bdae in my hse when my mum and the rest are on holiday. lolz… and i was the only one who sang bdae song to u… and and.. ahha.. the question u popped up and the hug u have for me. hee.. it’s nice to look back.

I’m back, like finally!

YEAH, as u guys know, I just graduated from NTU, came back from korea and shanghai.. and i’m energised up to look for a JOB! any recommendations?

Korea and Shanghia trip with dar was great, away from HOT singapore.. and to a foriegn country feels great. But i miss my family badly when i was in Korea eating their steamboat.. missed the traditional type of steamboat at home instead of the leafy steamboats we had in Korea. I’m sick of the food manz.. but yet, i’ve put on weight. For wat reason? for living a life free from stress, think it’s natural to gain weight. My frenz and sis noticed that.. sobz.

Shall share some pics in the next entry. Pretty lazy to blog nowadays! hah!.. tadah! Good news! I’m glad till now, i’ve heard that all my frens passed for the exams, and we’re graduating together in 2008! Weet~ looking forward to convocation and Dinner& dance.. Bought a dress for dinner.. hah hah. Btw, for those who’re wondering how i fare for the exams! ahah.. i’m pretty disappointed with my fyp grades. but..i’m glad i’ve got an average honors. Thank god! I’m happy for PP dar too..

This weekend is gonna be an eventful one! celebrations and gatherings! and…………… with a very special someone! *hugs*

We’ll be going off for one week. Weet! Gonna spend the rest of our holidays slacking and spending more time with each other before its close to impossible when we start our work. heh..

11th Special day with Special someone

It’s a wonderful day today , as the love birds have gotten out of their cage. ahha

Finally, dar dar brought me to Waraku PASTA! Super nice lor i tell you. The yummiest pasta i’ve ever tried in town. Though it’s kinda ex.. Like around $18 per plate of pasta.. we really think it’s worth it and we’ll return again another time.

we also tried their cheesy Potato Mochi.. nice. and their scallop prawn pizza.

and we watched Speed racer today! I hate rain lor.. super ugly. Dun understand why he so  ‘red’.. haha.. *faint*

I think there’re certain parts of the story that is kinda touching.. like parts with family love and bonding..furthermore, it’s mother’s day this weekend! Weet~

But well, i think speed racer is not as nice as Iron man. So not worth the money..watch it at $10bucks today.

Had my hair crop!

Yea.. brought mummy and didi, plus Xan out today! Went Jp to have my hair crop! very short now.. but i thought it looked quite okay.. *heng* look more presentable for any interview ahead.

Brought them to Old town at East coast big splash. Disappointed that the Big splash is no longer there.. but yet glad that they’ve this Old Town restaurant that serves Local food plus yummy ice coffee.. They’re famous for their white coffee and it really taste good.. coming from someone who dun drink coffee that often, yea.. it must be very good.

Still rembr, the first time we visited there during the exams. And PP dar ordered the ice coffee.. recharged us during the exam days where we were either mugging in east coast mac, Marine parade lib.. or Home. It was our second visit there.. and we’re sure to visit Old town again.

Had a little tuff with PP early in the day.. and glad we’ve tok things out. We always do and i hope in future, we’ll always keep it this way. There’re bound to quarrels and odds yea? But i hope its gonna be both parties effort to keep it going. It hurts when we quarrel, but only then that we felt the importance of each other at the verge of giving up.. and we’re back to square. *hugs*
